Volunteers / Supporters WelcomeRe: Volunteers sought for HOPE activities Householders’ Options to Protect the Environment (HOPE) Inc. is a community-based not-for-profit organisation managed entirely by volunteers. The development of a good, strong team of "willing workers" is important in achieving HOPE’s principal aim. HOPE’s principal aim is to raise awareness of, and encourage active participation in, waste minimization and the conservation of energy and resources. In a nut-shell, our efforts are directed at:

Areas where you can help HOPE is looking for volunteers who can help in the following areas:
A fair portion of the above work would ideally be done by locals (i.e. in the Toowoomba area) because the HOPE office is in Toowoomba, Queensland. However, quite a bit of the literature review, research, publications activity can be done via email. Voluntary Librarian required HOPE requires the services of a qualified librarian to take responsibility for catalogueing our library resources and to initiate a lending service. The position is voluntary with the hours negotiated to suit.
