Biochar Presentation at TCOGA

Rod Lemin will be presenting a demonstration day at Toowoomba Community Organic Gardening Association on the benefits of Biochar.  Researchers believe charcoal-carbon to be a magic ingredient for our environment, crop production and nutrient depleted soils.”  “CSIRO are also studying charcoal’s natural filtering properties and studies are showing it can reduce the uptake of pesticides by plants and the degradation of pesticides in soil.”  Saturday 19th June, 10 am. Cost $ 10

Winter Solstice Pizza Day

Come celebrate the shortest day at TCOGA.  The pizza oven will be fired up at 12pm.  Bring your own handmade base and toppings. Be creative, organic ingredients are encouraged.  Bring your family with a basket of goodies and drinks, food etc. to share with your community!!  Saturday 19th June from 12-2pm
