HOPE (Householder's Options to Protect the Environment) is pleased to announce the launch of its inaugural Pathways to Sustainability Expo to be in Toowoomba on Sunday, 5 June 2011. The venue for the expo is the University of Southern Queensland, West Street, Toowoomba.

Overview

The Expo will coincide with World Environment Day and will include information displays, demonstrations and workshops, environmentally friendly products and services and a speakers program.

The Pathways to Sustainability Expo is great opportunity for people to find out about the easy changes they can make in their daily lives that can help reduce their environmental impact.

You can easily make a difference by changing your routines and making simple changes like using environmentally friendly cleaning products and switching to eco friendly light bulbs,? said Frank Ondrus, President of HOPE.

At the Expo you will get the chance to talk to representatives of local, regional and state environmental groups. You will see demonstrations of eco products and services; and have the opportunity for children and young people to participate in workshops on the day.

HOPE is a non-for-profit community based environmental organisation whose principal focus is waste minimization and the conservation of energy and resources. This Expo is a tangible way for HOPE to raise awareness about environmental issues, to educate people about solutions; and to demonstrate how easily it can be done.

Expressions of interest are sought from community groups and businesses wishing to exhibit at the Expo.
