2016 Planned and Proposed Events
The HOPE management committee re-endorses its commitment to maintain (and strengthen where possible) our relationships/alliances with international, national, state (Qld) and local/regional partners.
HOPE will support key local/regional community events through the provision of information displays and demonstration activities where appropriate.
HOPE will seek funding to pursue new and lapsed 'wish list’ projects.

Grants/Projects
Current grant applications pending:
- Office computer and equipment funding application to GCBF (Qld)
- 2016 Volunteer Grants program - application to purchase of 40 HOPE monogrammed polo shirts for members and volunteers
- Condamine Alliance NRM Small Grants program - application to Support Peri-Urban Landholders with Wildlife Friendly Gardens and Landscape Connectivity
Appeals
HOPE is involved in numerous community outreach activities
These engagements include:
- An annual media campaign to collect used postage stamps for local a community group’s fund-raising for overseas missions work.
- In February an appeal to collect gardening tools and equipment for St Vincent De Paul's, Warwick
- In July we organised an internal collection of books and magazines for the Southern Queensland Correctional Centre prison library, Gatton
