Projects and Events
As part of our on-going efforts to promote HOPE’s Charter, we have undertaken to initiate projects, events and activities in our own right – and to support where possible, those efforts of our envNGO colleagues.
On these pages you will find a summary of our current and past projects, events and activities.

- June 2026: University Student Placements program
At present, we have an existing relationship with the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) to accept a student placement via our Eco-Social Work initiative.
Our 1st student placement was Ms Jessica Nettle who prepared a research paper entitled on “Greenwashing and Education – What role does consumer education have in reducing susceptibility to greenwashing (Apr 2024)”.
The 2nd student placement was Ms Laura Little who prepared the “Research Report Into Eco-Social Justice in Australia (Aug 2025)”.
We are currently in discussion with UniSQ to recruit a student to research “the development of a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)”.
Now, thanks to our President’s outreach to universities throughout Australia, we have been offered student placement opportunities from the following 3 universities:
- Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs with the:
- University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC)
- University of Western Sydney
- Master of Sustainability “Capstone Research Project” with the University of Sydney
In coming weeks, we hope to finalise registration to all programs as noted above.
